Cam Clutch

Image
Reliable unidirectional clutch solutions with sprag clutches and cam clutches, designed for maximum holdback efficiency… Backstopping function prevents reverse rotation when input drive is discontinued or power supply failure to input drive. The freewheel clutch continues overrunning / freewheeling when the equipment is in operation or working mode and it engages if reverse rotation occurs unexpectedly. Backstop/Holdback is used to prevent the shaft from rotating in the opposite direction. This function simply achieved by anchoring one race of the clutch so that the other race is free to rotate in one (required) direction but is immediately locked in reverse direction. Normally, outer race or outer race flange or torque arm of the clutch is fixed to the stationary part — equipment frame and inner race fitted on to the drive shaft- rotating freely. Cam Clutch The Basic Principle of Freewheel One-way clutch is based on wedge friction theory. Free wheel one way clutch is mechanical device...

Shaft Couplings

Enhance your machinery’s performance with NMTG’s keyless coupling solutions, shaft couplings, and torque nuts for… The main function of the rigid coupling is the safe and backlash-free connection of two shafts by means of friction. This connection is mainly used to transmit torque. The coupling is simply pushed onto the shaft and fastened so it is frictionally engaged by tightening the screws in the shrink disc/locking assembly. They transfer torque and bending moments as well as axial and radial forces. Advantages Strong connection with high torque capacity Easy assembly and disassembly Backlash-free shaft hub connection High level of true running accuracy No heating necessary No hydraulic necessary Pursue the same diameter — but an adaptation to different diameters is also possible Shaft Couplings Mining is the extraction of valuable minerals or other geological materials from Earth. It can be Surface Mining & Underground Mining. Mining Operations are in extremely critical & ...
